Our Team
Dr. MacPhail was born and raised in the Greater Lansing area before moving to Wisconsin with her husband while he served in the United States Navy. While in Wisconsin she graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a Bachelor of Biological Science Degree, and from Marquette University School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.
After graduating Dr. MacPhail moved back to Michigan to practice dentistry alongside her father and mentor Dr. Jason Baker and provide care close to her hometown.
Dr. MacPhail is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Michigan Dental Association, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She believes it is important to continue her education in order to provide her patients with the highest quality of care. Dr. MacPhail offers a wide variety of comprehensive dental treatments, including preventative care, restorations, cosmetic dental care, SureSmile clear aligners, and as an AAFE Injector of both Botox and Dermal Fillers.
As a provider, her goal is to educate patients on their current dental condition and provide enough knowledge for patients to confidently make the best treatment decisions for themselves. She hopes to help patients understand the importance of establishing and maintaining good oral health as they transition throughout their life.
Outside of the office, Dr. MacPhail’s favorite thing in the world is spending time with her husband and their two young children. With two toddlers only 16 months apart, every day is an adventure! She’s a big fan of coffee, exercise, walks with her golden retriever, Football Sundays with her family and Michigan State Spartans. Go Green!
Bekah brings over a decade of experience in Dental Administration to MacPhail Signature Smiles. She holds a Business Degree and began her career in the Metro Detroit area before moving to Lansing after getting married. Her passion for helping people and problem-solving led her to the dental field, where she excels at finding the best financial solutions to help patients achieve their dental goals.
Bekah knew she was in the right profession when she left work each day feeling fulfilled by her accomplishments. She values the impact she has on patients and enjoys being a trusted resource in their dental care journey.
Outside of work, Bekah enjoys spending time with her husband, their three cats, and four chickens. She can often be found reading, gardening, or exploring the beauty of Northern Michigan.
