Meet Dr. MacPhail!

Dr. MacPhail was born and raised in the Greater Lansing area. She later moved to Wisconsin with her husband while he served in the United States Navy. There, she earned a Bachelor of Biological Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Marquette University School of Dentistry.

After graduating, Dr. MacPhail returned to Michigan to practice dentistry alongside her father and mentor, Dr. Jason Baker. This allowed her to provide care close to her hometown.

Dr. MacPhail is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Michigan Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She believes ongoing education is essential to providing her patients with the highest quality of care.

Dr. MacPhail offers a wide range of comprehensive dental treatments. These include preventative care, restorations, and cosmetic dentistry, as well as SureSmile clear aligners. She is also an AAFE-certified injector of both Botox and dermal fillers.

As a provider, Dr. MacPhail’s goal is to help patients understand their current dental condition. She wants each patient to have the knowledge needed to confidently choose the best treatment for their needs. She also hopes to help patients recognize the importance of establishing and maintaining good oral health throughout every stage of life.

Outside of the office, Dr. MacPhail’s favorite thing in the world is spending time with her husband and their two young children. With two toddlers only 16 months apart, every day is an adventure. She also enjoys coffee, exercise, and walks with her golden retriever. Football Sundays are a family favorite too, especially when cheering on the Michigan State Spartans. Go Green! When she’s not chasing after her kids or watching a game, Dr. MacPhail enjoys trying new coffee shops around the Lansing area and exploring local parks with her family. She values the balance between her career and home life, and she’s grateful for a community that feels like home.
